18-1
Its been ages since I’ve caught up with some of you. A LOT has been happening. Seeing that I’m blogging about it, yes I’m a little baulked out.
The Airbus continues to amaze me with its level of the technology this thing has. Its fantastic!
Monday: Performance (Classroom)- This is where you learn the various factors affecting aircraft performance such as how the runway length, weight, temperature, altitude, etc can affect your aircraft performance in flight. Its really interesting to learn indept.
Tuesday: (exam lah)..made it through
Wed: MFTD a tough day. But picked up quite abit
Thursday: A bad day really, kept making mistakes and was totally out of knowledge as i did not prepare properly, hence the confusion. Stressful because its frustrating. A headache and just feel too good at all. The toughest day thus far. But learnt a heck of a lot from the mistakes.
Friday: Exam for the MFTD phase 1. Went quite well and the lessons learnt from mistakes yesterday paid off a lot today. Monday we start abnormal aircraft operations. Cleared to progress further.
The weekend has been pretty OK. Got quite abit of sleep in, been eating quite OK and got to spend time with my family and see a few friends. Finally went to the gym and did some cardio.
Looking ahead, we’ll be doing a lot of emergency cockpit stuff this week. Engine failures, hydraulic failures, basically the abnormal operations of the A320. Going to try and fit some time for gym as well. Hopefully spend more time with people. There should be no such thing as being too busy.
As I said, the fight goes on. NOTHING in this world that’s worth having comes easy. Its times like these when really, I think back to the very few yet significant words
-Dare to dream
-Make your dreams come true
-Never take no for an answer….And BELIEVE..the power of belief is enormous.
It takes a lot out of you. But this is what drives me. The day I get to fly that red plane, all that power, all those lights, gadgets, the SPEED the vibrations the blue sky all rushing towards you at 800kph. That is what I live for and what I’ll always fight for. Hope this week goes well. Talk soon.
